Vilafranca Bed and Breakfast in Santiago, Chile
Santiago, the capital of Chile, is a thriving, sophisticated metropolis in the country's center, located at the foot of the snowcapped Andes Mountains, which rise majestically over the city's eastern limits. It is the historic, economic, and cultural center of Chile, and its restaurants, art centers, and theaters are the best in the country. Bed and breakfast travelers will also find that it makes a convenient base for exploring a number of great destinations outside the city limits, including beaches, ski resorts, and wineries. Some of the major attractions include the Plaza Armas with the Governor's Palace, La Chascona (Pablo Neruda's Home), Valle Nevado, Chile's largest ski resort, San Cristobal Hill with its zoo and wine museum and, at the midway point, a gondola ride to the top.
Vilafranca is a cozy bed and breakfast located in the heart of the Providencia district. The innkeepers pride themselves in paying special attention to detail. Guest bedrooms have their own particular style, cable TV, a security box, WiFi as well as a private fully-equipped bathroom including hairdryer.

The Vilafranca was a great place to stay. We spent a couple of nights in the hotel, and several more nights in the apartment they have a couple blocks away.
