Spring Break Destination - Pine Island, Florida

Secluded Waterfront Community

Pine Island is situated on Florida's Southern Gulf Coast, just 1/2 hour from S.W. Florida International Airport. The largest island on the west coast of Florida, Pine Island offers bed and breakfast travelers a secluded, quiet waterfront community. White sandy beaches are accessible by taking a local ferry to Cayo Costa Island State Park in the Gulf of Mexico or take a short picturesque drive to Sanibel's Beaches. Pine Island is fringed with mangroves and abounds with nature, including manatees, dolphins plus hundreds of tropical birds. Must-see attractions include the Thomas Edison-Henry Ford Winter Estates and Museum, J.N. Ding Darling Wildlife Preserve and the worlds largest shell factory with tours daily.
