Crested Butte Colorado is located at the North end of the Gunnison Valley in Southwestern Colorado. It offers outstanding and diverse opportunities for outdoor activities. The Retreat sits high on a hillside above the base town, only 300 yards from the ski runs. All rooms are ringed with large windows providing panoramic views of the surrounding aspen and evergreen covered mountains and valleys. The structure has been designed with a blend of traditional and modern Colorado architecture and building materials including hickory and maple floors, soapstone stoves and slate and travertine bathrooms. The large open spaces contain soaring, cathedral open-beam ceilings and ensure an ample variety of comfortable vignettes for guests to relax. The Retreat is decorated with photography and art from around the world and a variety of new and antique furniture, giving an international flair to this beautiful mountain structure.
