Medieval French Town
The medieval town of Loches is situated in the beautiful Loire Valley, just 25 miles (40 km) southeast of Tours in the hills of the banks of the Indre. It offers bed and breakfast travelers one of the most impressive castles of the Loire region, the Chateau de Loches. Other attractions include the Romanesque Collegiate Church of St-Ours, Valmer and Villandry gardens and the caves of Chinon, Bourgueil and Vouvray. The four double bedrooms are prettily decorated and furnished with family furniture and each have a bathroom with either bath or shower. All the bedrooms have a sofa and television, a coffee maker and a small fridge. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities if needed.
