Aurum Lodge in The Icefield Parkway

The Icefield Parkway in Alberta, Canada stretches from Lake Louise to Jasper and is considered one of the most scenic drives in North America. The parkway connects Banff and Jasper National Parks and provides travelers spectacular views of mountains, glaciers, and more. This is an all-season destination; fall and winters are the best time to enjoy the wilderness and tranquillity of the area, while spring is the best time for wildlife viewing.

Aurum Lodge is a great base to explore this part of the Canadian Rockies. The lodge is close to the Mountain Parks and the center of the Icefield Parkway. Besides the many area attractions and nature based activities, Aurum Lodge is ideal for guests who want to get away from it all and simply relax or read a book.

The lodge also caters to small special interest groups up to 12 people (hiking, wellness, natural history, arts, photography, etc.) and can offer exclusive use of our facility and attractive group rates.

Aurum Lodge was presented with the Alberta Tourism Award for Sustainable Tourism in 2001 for their efforts in minimising environmental impact of our operation.

This sounds like a wonderful b&b on the Icefields Parkway. My husband and I are hoping to pay a repeat visit to the area and will definitely consider this lodge.
