Historic Bayeux in Normandy

Bayeux is a historic city located in the lush, pastoral region of the Normandy in the northwest of France. It is centrally located to many attractions and features picturesque scenery. If you like the outdoors, you can enjoy golfing, horseback riding, sailing or swimming. Those interested in history or other cultural attractions will have many choices, such as the famous Bayeux Tapestry, the D-Day beaches, Mont St. Michel and a variety of castles and gardens close by. Festivals in the area include the anniversary celebration of D-Day, the Normandy Boreals Festival and the Christmas Market.
