Memoires de Provence

Provence is located in southern France - its central location makes it and easy destination for all bed and breakfast travelers. Provence borders the Mediterranean; its southwest coast is situated on the Gulf of Lion; Italy borders it to the northeast and the French island of Corsica lies southeast in the Mediterranean sea. The departments in Provence include: Alpes de-Haute-Provence, Bouches-de-Rhone, Hautes Alpes, Var and Vaucluse.

The small town of Gordes en Luberon is located in the heart of the famed and beautiful Provence region of France. Bed and breakfast travelers who enjoy the outdoors will find that biking, hiking and horseback riding are the perfect way to experience the magical countryside, the Gorges of Regalon, the Gorges of Veroncle and the hills of Vaucluse. Nearby attractions include the Fontaine de Vaucluse, the Ochre of Roussillon (the Provencal Colorado) and the amazing city of Isle sur la Sorgue, also called the Provencal Venice and the city of Avignon. Travel along the Wine or the Lavender Road, visit one of the numerous colorful markets held in many towns and villages or attend a festival to experience the essence of all things Provencal.

Memoires de Provence is a traditional stone farmhouse from 18th century set in attractive grounds and vineyards, in the countryside outside Coustellet opposite the Luberon mountains. Ideally situated for visiting the Luberon National Park and the beautiful surrounding Provence countryside and spectacular hilltop villages (Gordes, Ménerbes, Lacoste, Oppède le Vieux etc), and only 25 mins from historic Avignon.
